全球能源投資公司與CIMC萊佛士簽署合作意向書

澳大利亞全球能源投資公司(GEV)是全球海洋壓縮天然氣(CNG)項目的開發(fā)商，該公司和煙臺中集萊佛士離岸有限公司(CIMC Raffles Offshore Limited)已經(jīng)延長了合作意向書(LoI)，計劃建造200艘CNG最優(yōu)船舶。

根據(jù)全球能源投資公司提交給證券交易所的文件，延期6個月至2020年12月31日。

合作意向書內(nèi)容涉及建造4艘200MMscf壓縮天然氣(CNG)船，全球能源投資公司可以選擇再另外訂購4艘。

該協(xié)議于2019年7月簽署，為簽訂造船合同鋪平了道路。

全球能源投資公司當(dāng)時表示，擬議的合同價格范圍為每艘船1.35億至1.4億美元。

Global Energy Ventures, CIMC Raffles extend LoI

Australia’s Global Energy Ventures (GEV), a developer of global integrated marine compressed natural gas (CNG) projects, and Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Limited (CIMC Raffles) have extended their Letter of Intent (LoI) to build the CNG Optimum 200 ships.

The extension is for six months through to December 31, 2020, according to a stock exchange filing from GEV.

The LoI concerns the construction of four firm 200MMscf Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) ships with the option for GEV to order up to an additional four ships.

It was signed back in July 2019, paving the way for the signing of a shipbuilding contract.

GEV said at the time that the proposed contract price range was $ 135-140 million per ship.

“During the past six months our project teams have worked closely with the team at CIMC Raffles to complete important marine engineering work on our priority projects in Brazil and the US. This work has taken the base design of the CNG Optimum ship and qualified new designs to include two additional methods for loading gas offshore. These are the STL and SAL gas loading systems,” Executive Chairman and CEO Maurice Brand said.

“This work has put the company into a strong position to secure our first project CNG project for multiple applications including Brazil and the US.”
