清潔能源與亞馬遜合作開發(fā)負(fù)碳燃料

　　據(jù)4月19日offshore energy消息：美國替代燃料供應(yīng)商清潔能源燃料和技術(shù)公司亞馬遜已簽署協(xié)議，提供低碳和負(fù)碳可再生天然氣(RNG)。

　　可再生天然氣(RNG)來源于有機(jī)廢物分解產(chǎn)生的生物甲烷。根據(jù)加州空氣資源委員會(huì)的數(shù)據(jù)，清潔能源通過銷售成功地將危害氣候的溫室氣體數(shù)量從60%減少到400%以上。

　　根據(jù)新協(xié)議，清潔能源將在其現(xiàn)有的27個(gè)加氣站提供RNG，并在年底之前再建設(shè)19個(gè)新的或升級的清潔能源加氣站。

　　這些加氣站將在美國15個(gè)不同州提供RNG。

　　清潔能源首席執(zhí)行官兼總裁安德魯·J·利特菲爾說：“如果世界真的要解決氣候變化問題，我們所有人都需要找到既環(huán)保又經(jīng)濟(jì)的解決方案，而這正是這份協(xié)議所支持的?！痹摴驹?013年率先將RNG作為一種汽車燃料商業(yè)化，現(xiàn)在全國每天都有數(shù)萬輛汽車使用RNG。

　　Clean Energy and Amazon collaborate on carbon-negative fuel

　　U.S. alternative fuels supplier Clean Energy Fuels and technology company Amazon have signed an agreement to provide low and negative carbon renewable natural gas (RNG).

　　Renewable natural gas (RNG) is derived from biogenic methane produced by the breakdown of organic waste. Through its sales, Clean Energy managed to reduce the amount of climate-harming greenhouse gas from 60 per cent to over 400 per cent depending on the source of the RNG, according to the California Air Resources Board.

　　Under the new agreement, Clean Energy will be providing RNG at its 27 existing stations and another 19 new or upgraded Clean Energy-owned stations to be constructed by the end of the year.

　　These stations will provide this fuel in 15 different states in the U.S.

　　Andrew J. Littlefair, CEO and president of Clean Energy., said: “If the world is really going to tackle the issue of climate change, all of us need to find solutions that work both environmentally and economically, and that is exactly what this agreement supports. Clean Energy was the first to commercially make RNG available as a vehicle fuel in 2013 and now fuels tens of thousands of vehicles across the country every day.”
