伊藤忠商事將在日本供應(yīng)船用氨燃料

據(jù)世界天然氣網(wǎng)3月15日消息 日本伊藤忠商事株式會社、伊藤忠能源公司、宇部興業(yè)和Uyeno Transtech達成協(xié)議，就船用氨燃料的供應(yīng)和在日本開發(fā)供應(yīng)點展開合作。

國際海事組織（IMO）通過的溫室氣體減排戰(zhàn)略要求，到2030年，效率比2008年提高40%，到2050年，總減排量比2008年減少50%。同時，其還呼吁日本盡早實現(xiàn)零排放。為實現(xiàn)這些目標，預(yù)計將盡早開發(fā)設(shè)計為零排放船舶的船只。

為了實現(xiàn)以氨為主要燃料的船舶的發(fā)展，作為替代燃料的候選者，船用氨燃料的穩(wěn)定供應(yīng)和供應(yīng)場所的發(fā)展被認為是必不可少的因素。

這項最新的聯(lián)合開發(fā)工作不僅著眼于在日本國內(nèi)開發(fā)船用氨燃料供應(yīng)點，而且也是一個綜合項目的一部分，該項目包括聯(lián)合開發(fā)氨燃料船、這些船的所有權(quán)和運營，引進船用氨燃料及其供應(yīng)設(shè)施。

ITOCHU to supply marine ammonia fuel in Japan

Japan’s Itochu Corporation, Itochu Enex, Ube Industries and Uyeno Transtech reached an agreement to work together on the supply of marine ammonia fuel and the development of supply sites in Japan.

The greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction strategy adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) calls for a 40 per cent improvement in efficiency by 2030 compared to 2008 and a 50 per cent total reduction compared with 2008 by the year 2050. It also calls for the zero emissions as early as possible in Japan. To meet these goals, the early development of ships designed to be zero emission vessels is expected.

In order to achieve the development of ships that use ammonia as their main fuel, as it is a candidate for alternative fuels, the stable supply of marine ammonia fuel and the development of supply sites are considered essential elements.

This latest joint development effort is not only focused on developing supply sites for marine ammonia fuel inside Japan, but is also a part of an integrated project that includes the joint development of ammonia fuel ships, the ownership and operation of these ships, the introduction of marine ammonia fuel and facilities for the supply of that fuel.

Under the agreement, ITOCHU will develop marine ammonia fuel supply sites and fuel supply vessels, Ube Industries will undertake research and development on the supply of marine ammonia fuel and on the development of the onshore facilities required for its supply, Uyeno Transtech will conduct research and development into marine ammonia fuel supply vessels and into the formulation of safety standards for refueling, and ITOCHU ENEX will conduct research and development into ammonia fuel supply sites in Japan.
