EastMed天然氣管道預(yù)計2025年完工

據(jù)3月12日Neftegaz.RU消息：以色列能源專家Yuval Steinitz在接受采訪時表示，雄心勃勃的耗資60億歐元的EastMed海底管道將在未來5年內(nèi)建成并準(zhǔn)備就緒。

EastMed管道將使以色列和塞浦路斯能夠直接向希臘和意大利出口天然氣，并從希臘和意大利向巴爾干半島和中歐出口天然氣。

2017年，四個國家與歐盟能源專員在特拉維夫簽署了一份諒解備忘錄。

希臘-意大利天然氣合資企業(yè)IGI Poseidon于3月9日表示，該公司已與以色列天然氣管道公司簽署協(xié)議，合作建設(shè)將以色列連接至地中海東部的EastMed天然氣管道的設(shè)施。

IGI Poseidon是希臘國有天然氣公司DEPA與意大利愛迪生公司的合資企業(yè)，它表示，與以色列公司達成的協(xié)議更新了2019年的諒解備忘錄，旨在將Eastmed項目連接到以色列輸電系統(tǒng)，并促進東地中海通過塞浦路斯向意大利和歐洲的天然氣流動。

EastMed gas pipeline can be ready in 2025

The ambitious €6 billion EastMed undersea pipeline could be built and ready within the next 5 years, Israeli Energy Yuval Steinitz told the Cyprus news agency in an interview.

The EastMed pipeline will enable Israel and Cyprus to export natural gas directly to Greece and Italy, and from Greece and Italy to the Balkans and Central Europe

An MoU was signed in Tel Aviv in 2017 between 4 countries together with the EU Energy Commissioner.

Y.Steinitz said:

In Israel, we have a huge surplus of gas

We have enough to justify not one EastMed pipeline, but I think together with Cyprus, we can justify even 2 or 3 such pipelines

Finally, after many years of missed opportunities, Israel, Cyprus, and Greece decided to combine forces together to help each other’s economic development

Greek-Italian gas joint venture IGI Poseidon said on March 9, that it had signed an agreement with the Israel Natural Gas Lines to cooperate on building facilities to connect Israel to the EastMed gas pipeline in the eastern Mediterranean.

IGI Poseidon, a joint venture between Greece’s state-owned gas utility DEPA and Italy’s Edison, said the agreement with the Israeli company, which updates a 2019 MoU, aims to connect the Eastmed project to the Israeli transmission system and facilitate gas flows from the eastern Mediterranean to Italy and Europe, via Cyprus.

State-owned Israel Natural Gas Lines said the connection will allow gas to flow from all the Israeli gas fields.

Greece, Cyprus, and Israel aim to reach a final investment decision on the EastMed project by 2022 and have the €6 billion pipeline completed by 2025
