西半球首個(gè)商業(yè)化天然氣合成油工廠開(kāi)業(yè)

據(jù)3月11日Oil Now報(bào)道，本周，特立尼達(dá)和多巴哥總理基思·羅利博士宣布，NiQuan公司位于Pointe-à-Pierre的天然氣合成油工廠正式啟用。

該工廠的額定產(chǎn)能為2400桶/天，生產(chǎn)高性能、低排放的能源產(chǎn)品，GTL合成柴油和GTL石腦油等(GTL：天然氣合成油)。

據(jù)報(bào)道，NiQUAN GTL是西半球首個(gè)商業(yè)化的該類型工廠。

該廠利用區(qū)域資源進(jìn)行融資，本地資金占比達(dá)到90%。吉爾表示:“最初，我們?cè)O(shè)想了一個(gè)國(guó)際融資的項(xiàng)目，但事實(shí)是我們得到了區(qū)域性的融資。我們相信，這是加勒比地區(qū)的第一個(gè)大型能源基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施項(xiàng)目?！?/span>

NiQUAN GTL是目前世界上僅有的5個(gè)商用GTL工廠之一，專門用于GTL產(chǎn)品的商用生產(chǎn)，并使用低溫費(fèi)托合成(LTFT)工藝。

該GTL工廠于2020年12月開(kāi)始運(yùn)營(yíng)，與原油衍生產(chǎn)品和其他能源相比，GTL產(chǎn)品具有高性能和低排放的特點(diǎn)。此外，它們還具有可生物降解性和低毒性，這使得它們比原油制品更有優(yōu)勢(shì)。

First of its kind gas to liquids plant opens in Trinidad & Tobago

NiQuan Energy’s Gas to Liquids plant, located at Pointe-à-Pierre, was declared open this week by Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley.

The plant has a nameplate capacity of 2,400 barrels per day and produces high performance, low emissions energy products; GTL Paraffinic Diesel and GTL Naphtha, from natural gas.

According to reports, NiQUAN GTL is the first commercial plant of its type in the western hemisphere.

“GTL represents clean energy – a bridge from a dirty energy past to a cleaner energy future. It’s a bridge that everyone wanted to build but, for many reasons, most of them have failed. With this plant, NiQuan Energy has built the first bridge and there will be more, many more,” said Ainsley Gill, Group CEO of NiQuan Energy. “And not just in Trinidad and Tobago and the Americas but around the world. Our clean energy products will make a difference. That’s the belief that’s driven us from day one. It’s what we promised to deliver, and we’ve kept our promise here today.”

The plant achieved a remarkable local content of over 90% and was financed using regional resources.

“Originally, we conceived of a project financed internationally, the reality is that it has been financed regionally which, we believe, is a first for a major energy infrastructure project in the Caribbean,” Gill said.

NiQUAN GTL is one of only five commercial GTL plants currently operating in the world built exclusively for the commercial production of GTL products and using the Low Temperature Fischer-Tropsch (LTFT) process.

The GTL Plant commenced operations in December 2020 and is currently ramping up to a nameplate capacity of 2,400 barrels of GTL Paraffinic Diesel and GTL Naphtha in an 80:20 split per day.

GTL products are characterized by high performance and low emissions when compared to their crude-derived equivalents and other energy sources. In addition, they are also biodegradable and have low toxicity, which confers further advantages over products made from crude oil.
