凱恩能源計劃向伍德賽德石油出售塞內(nèi)加爾石油項目股權(quán)

據(jù)道瓊斯9月7日消息，凱恩能源公司周一表示，公司將把其在塞內(nèi)加爾的Rufisque、Sangomar和Sangomar Deep項目40%的股權(quán)以至多4億美元的價格出售給伍德賽德石油公司。凱恩能源表示，在此之前，伍德賽德石油證實，它將行使對該項目的優(yōu)先購買權(quán)。凱恩最初同意將該項目出售給盧克石油公司，前提是伍德賽德不行使其期權(quán)。這筆交易必須得到塞內(nèi)加爾政府的同意和股東的批準。該公司計劃周一向股東發(fā)布通知，交易預(yù)計將在今年第四季度完成。

Cairn Energy to Sell Senegal Project to Woodside Petroleum for up to $400 Mln

Cairn Energy PLC said Monday that it is selling its 40% interest in the Rufisque, Sangomar and Sangomar Deep project in Senegal to Woodside Petroleum Ltd. for up to $400 million.

Cairn said the sale followed Woodside's confirmation that it would exercise its pre-emption rights over the project. Cairn had initially agreed to sell the project to Lukoil PJSC, subject to Woodside not exercising its option.

The sale is conditional upon consent from the Government of Senegal and shareholder approval.

The company plans to publish a circular to shareholders Monday, and the deal is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of this year.
