IOG與荷蘭HSM簽訂北海項目生產(chǎn)平臺合同

據(jù)8月3日Energy Voice報道，英國獨立石油天然氣公司(IOG)選擇了荷蘭HSM Offshore公司，為其位于北海南部的核心項目一起項目提供生產(chǎn)平臺。包括為Southwark和Blythe氣田設(shè)計、制造和安裝無人裝置。

第一階段包括開發(fā)Southwark、Blythe和Elgood氣田，通過5口生產(chǎn)井，將天然氣通過泰晤士河管道輸送到陸上的Bacton。

Southwark平臺將是第一階段和其他計劃開發(fā)的關(guān)鍵設(shè)施。Blythe平臺將是Blythe中心的焦點，其中包括Elgood海底回接。

Independent Oil and Gas hands North Sea platforms contract to Dutch firm HSM

Independent Oil and Gas (IOG) has picked Dutch contractor HSM Offshore to provide the production platforms for phase one of its core project in the southern North Sea.

The deal covers the design, engineering, fabrication and installation of both normally unmanned installations for the Southwark and Blythe gas fields.

Phase one involves the development of the Southwark, Blythe and Elgood gas fields through a total of five production wells with gas transported onshore to Bacton via the Thames Pipeline.

The Southwark platform will be a key installation both for phase one and other planned developments.

The Blythe platform will be the focal point of the Blythe Hub which includes the Elgood subsea tie-back.

IOG has been working with HSM since late 2019 under pre-contractual arrangements to ensure that platform design and fabrication activities continue on schedule at the yard at Schiedam in the Netherlands.

Offshore installation is planned for the first half of 2021.

IOG chief executive Andrew Hockey said: “We are delighted to be working with HSM for the fabrication and installation of the Southwark and Blythe production platforms and are pleased to release an accompanying presentation showing recent fabrication progress at the yard.

“HSM are a highly respected offshore infrastructure fabricator with an extensive history of building platforms for both the Dutch and UK sectors of the North Sea and we are encouraged by the progress they have made to date, particularly in light of the challenges posed by Covid-19.

“These low carbon footprint facilities at Southwark and Blythe will be key infrastructure for the safe and effective execution of our gas hub strategy, not only for our SNS Core Project assets but also to enable valuable add-on developments.”

HSM managing director Jaco Lemmerzaal said: “HSM is very pleased to be selected as contractor by IOG for the Southwark and Blythe platforms.

“We are drawing on a wealth of platform engineering and construction experience and are making good progress towards the scheduled delivery date offshore in the first half of 2021.
