印度石油公司批準18億美元奧迪沙PX/PTA項目

據(jù)ICIS網(wǎng)站7月31日消息 印度石油公司（IOC）董事會已經(jīng)批準在奧迪沙州東部的帕拉迪普啟動一個綜合的對二甲苯（PX）和精對苯二甲酸（PTA）聯(lián)合項目，預計將于2024年初上線。

印度石油公司上周末在一份聲明中稱，公司董事會已批準投資約1380億盧比（18.4億美元）在其帕拉迪普煉油廠建立PX/PTA項目。

這家石油化工廠的PX產能將達到80萬噸/年，將為120萬噸/年的PTA生產線提供原料。

印度石油公司主席西姆·維迪亞說：“這座工廠連同即將在帕拉迪普建成的35.7萬噸/年產能的乙二醇工廠，將成為印度石油公司即將在奧迪沙的巴德拉克進行的30萬噸/年紡織紗線制造項目的原料來源?！?/span>

印度石油公司聲明稱，乙二醇裝置預計將于2021年底投入使用。

維迪亞表示，這一綜合設施將有助于促進該地區(qū)其他紡織和聚酯項目的發(fā)展。

印度石油公司已經(jīng)在運營一個68萬噸/年的聚丙烯裝置，包括兩條生產線，每條生產線年產萬噸。

India's IOC approves $1.8bn Odisha PX/PTA project

The Indian Oil Corp (IOC) board has approved the setting up of an integrated paraxylene (PX) and purified terephthalic acid (PTA) complex project at Paradip, in eastern Odisha state and expects to bring it online in early 2024.

IOC announced that its board had approved the investment of around Indian Rupees (Rs) 138bn ($1.84bn) to set up the PX/PTA project at its Paradip refinery complex, the company said in a statement over the weekend.

The petrochemicals complex will have a PX production capacity of 800,000 tonnes/year, which will provide the feedstock for the 1.2m tonnes/year PTA line.

"This plant, along with the upcoming monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant of 357,000 tonnes/year capacity at Paradip, would be a ready source of feedstock for IOC’s upcoming 300,000 tonnes/year textile yarn manufacturing project at Bhadrak in Odisha,” IOC chairman SM Vaidya said.

The MEG unit is expected to become operational towards the end of 2021, the IOC statement said.

This complex will help facilitate other textile and polyester projects in the region, Vaidya said.

IOC already operates a 680,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) unit comprising two lines of 340,000 tonnes/year each at the site.

Once operational, all these units will help provide the feedstock for the Petroleum, Chemical and Petrochemical Investment Region (PCPIR) that the Indian government plans to set up in Paradip, IOC said in its statement.
