道達(dá)爾榮獲全球最受欽佩上游勘探公司

據(jù)美國鉆井網(wǎng)站2020年7月7日報道，根據(jù)伍德麥肯茲的最新年度勘探調(diào)查結(jié)果，法國油氣巨頭道達(dá)爾公司日前榮獲了全球最受欽佩上游勘探公司的殊榮。

伍德麥肯茲此次調(diào)查詢問受訪者，除了他們自己的公司之外，他們最欽佩全球哪家上游勘探公司，但調(diào)查沒有將問題限制在特定的時期或領(lǐng)域。法國道達(dá)爾公司是在今年在線舉辦的伍德麥肯茲年度勘探峰會上獲得這一殊榮的。

伍德麥肯茲全球勘探研究副總裁安德魯· 萊瑟姆在發(fā)給美國鉆井網(wǎng)站的一份公司聲明中表示：“在過去的12年里，伍德美肯茲在整理了我們行業(yè)領(lǐng)先的年度勘探調(diào)查后每年確定了全球業(yè)內(nèi)最受欽佩的勘探公司?！?/span>

萊瑟姆說：“今年，我們的總冠軍是法國道達(dá)爾公司。道達(dá)爾公司最近取得了一系列重大油氣發(fā)現(xiàn)，包括在蘇里南海上的石油發(fā)現(xiàn)。

萊瑟姆繼續(xù)說，道達(dá)爾公司在南非海上還完成了首個大型凝析氣田布魯爾帕達(dá)發(fā)現(xiàn)。道達(dá)爾公司在塞浦路斯獲得了巨型天然氣田Glaucus發(fā)現(xiàn)和其它發(fā)現(xiàn)，在墨西哥灣侏羅紀(jì)地層中獲得了最大發(fā)現(xiàn)Ballymore發(fā)現(xiàn)，在英國獲得了重大的Glendronach和Glengorm天然氣發(fā)現(xiàn)，還有許多其它的發(fā)現(xiàn)。

萊瑟姆指出，想要贏得這個殊榮的公司需要有重大發(fā)現(xiàn)，最理想的是作為運營商，最理想的是在新領(lǐng)域。在評選的前5年里，英國圖洛石油公司每年都獲得了這個獎項。隨后美國阿納達(dá)科石油公司連續(xù)兩年摘得此桂冠，隨后意大利埃尼公司上演帽子戲法，而美國?？松梨诠沮A得了一次殊榮。

伍德麥肯茲在頒獎典禮上還頒發(fā)了其他3個獎項，包括年度發(fā)現(xiàn)獎，年度新冒險者獎和能源轉(zhuǎn)型最適應(yīng)獎。美國獨立的阿帕奇公司憑借蘇里南Maka Central發(fā)現(xiàn)奪得了年度發(fā)現(xiàn)獎，卡塔爾石油公司獲得了年度新冒險者獎，而荷蘭皇家殼牌公司被評為最適合能源轉(zhuǎn)型的勘探公司。

Who is the Most Admired Upstream Explorer?

The answer to that question is French oil and gas major Total, according to Wood Mackenzie’s (WoodMac) latest annual exploration survey.

The survey asked respondents which explorer, aside from their own company, they most admired, without restricting the question to a particular time period or sector. Total was awarded the accolade at WoodMac’s annual exploration summit, which was held online this year.

“For the past 12 years, Wood Mackenzie has named the industry’s most-admired explorer after collating the results of our industry-leading annual exploration survey,” Andrew Latham, WoodMac’s vice president of global exploration research, said in a company statement which was sent to Rigzone.

“This year, our overall winner is Total. Total has enjoyed a string of big wins recently, including offshore Suriname,” he added in the statement.

“It also completed the play-opening Brulpadda find in South Africa. Total is in Glaucus and others in Cyprus, Ballymore in the Gulf of Mexico Jurassic, Glendronach and Glengorm in the UK, and many other finds,” Latham continued.

Companies that want to win this award need to make big discoveries, ideally as an operator and ideally in new frontiers, Latham noted. Tullow Oil won the award every year for the first five years of its existence. Anadarko then picked it up for two years in a row, followed by a hat-trick for Eni and a single win for ExxonMobil.

WoodMac also handed out three other awards at its event. These comprised discovery of the year, new venturer of the year and explorer best adapted for the energy transition. U.S. independent Apache scooped the discovery of the year prize for Maka Central in Suriname, Qatar Petroleum was crowned new venturer of the year and Shell was named the explorer best adapted for the energy transition.
