美國(guó)7月苯合約價(jià)格上漲近40%

據(jù)ICIS網(wǎng)站6月30日消息 隨著原油價(jià)格的回升和美國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的逐步恢復(fù)，7月份美國(guó)苯合同結(jié)算價(jià)較6月份上漲近40%。

7月份的合同價(jià)格為1.38美元/加侖（美國(guó)海灣離岸價(jià)），比6月份的99美分/加侖上漲了39美分/加侖。

苯現(xiàn)貨價(jià)格逐月上漲，緊隨原油價(jià)格反彈，此前幾個(gè)月全球供應(yīng)過(guò)剩擔(dān)憂和疫情遏制措施將能源成本和衍生品需求降至歷史低點(diǎn)。6月26日當(dāng)周美國(guó)現(xiàn)貨苯收于1.355美元/加侖，高于5月29日當(dāng)周的1.00美元/加侖。

WTI原油期貨價(jià)格也在前一個(gè)月上漲，6月26日當(dāng)周收于38.49美元/桶，高于5月29日當(dāng)周的35.49美元/桶。

美國(guó)苯合同通常在前一個(gè)月的最后一個(gè)工作日結(jié)算，主要由當(dāng)月最后10天的平均現(xiàn)貨價(jià)格決定。

苯被用來(lái)生產(chǎn)一些中間體，這些中間體被用來(lái)制造聚合物、溶劑和洗滌劑。

美國(guó)苯的主要生產(chǎn)商包括?？松梨?、馬拉松石油、殼牌、希爾資源、雪佛龍、雪鐵戈石油、利安德巴賽爾、瓦萊羅和道達(dá)爾。

US July benzene contracts jump nearly 40% on stronger crude and reopening economy

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US July benzene contracts settled nearly 40% higher from June, as spot values have increased with a resurgence in crude prices and a gradual reopening of the US economy.

July contracts, at $1.38/gal FOB (free on board) US Gulf, increased 39 cents/gal from 99 cents/gal in June.

Spot benzene prices rose month over month, tracking rebounding crude values after global oversupply concerns and coronavirus pandemic containment measures just months prior drove energy costs and derivative demand down to historic lows. US spot benzene closed at $1.355/gal the week of 26 June, rising from $1.00/gal the week of 29 May.

WTI crude futures also gained over the previous month, closing at $38.49/bbl the week of 26 June, up from $35.49/bbl the week of 29 May.

US benzene contracts typically settle on the last working day of the prior month and are largely determined by the average spot price over the last 10 days of the month.

Benzene is used to produce a number of intermediates that are used to create polymers, solvents and detergents.

Major producers of US benzene include ExxonMobil, Marathon Petroleum, Shell, Flint Hills Resources, Chevron, CITGO, LyondellBasell, Valero and Total.
