據(jù)3月8日彭博社報道，澳大利亞本周將與美國簽署一項協(xié)議，允許其在緊急情況下從美國戰(zhàn)略石油儲備中獲取原油。

聲明表示，澳大利亞能源部長泰勒(Angus Taylor)將在華盛頓會見美國總統(tǒng)，并在德克薩斯州會見石油和天然氣行業(yè)的高管，并在訪問美國期間簽署這項協(xié)議。

Australia inks deal with U.S. for access to Strategic Petroleum Reserve

Australia said it will sign a deal with the U.S. this week giving it access to crude oil from to America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve during an emergency.

Australian energy minister Angus Taylor will sign the pact during a trip to the U.S., according to a statement from his office. Taylor will meet his U.S. counterpart in Washington D.C. and oil and gas industry executives in Texas, the statement said.

Australia has fallen short of its requirement to hold a 90-day stockpile of oil, according to 2019 data from the International Energy Agency.
