住友化學計劃合并新加坡三家子公司

　　據(jù)悉，日本住友化學公司表示，公司已經(jīng)決定合并旗下位于新加坡的三家子公司：住友化學亞洲公司、住友化學新加坡公司和住友化學亞太公司，合并將從2017年4月1日起生效。住友化學亞洲公司將成為存續(xù)公司。

　　住友化學亞洲公司成立于1990年，主要生產(chǎn)和銷售石化產(chǎn)品。住友化學新加坡公司成立于1996年，主要生產(chǎn)和銷售甲基丙烯酸甲酯（MMA），住友化學亞太公司成立于2013年，主要銷售和營銷化工產(chǎn)品。

　　住友化學表示，此次合并后，住友化學亞洲公司作為住友化學在亞太地區(qū)的區(qū)域總部，將致力于擴大公司在亞太地區(qū)的業(yè)務。

　　住友化學表示，此次合并將通過整合三家子公司的業(yè)務專長和利用各自建立的情報網(wǎng)絡來增強住友化學在亞洲地區(qū)的化學產(chǎn)品銷售、營銷、生產(chǎn)和供應鏈管理方面的競爭優(yōu)勢。

Sumitomo Chemical to merge its three subsidiaries in Singapore

Sumitomo Chemical says that it has decided to merge its three Singapore-based subsidiaries—Sumitomo Chemical Asia, Sumitomo Chemical Singapore, and Sumitomo Chemical Asia Pacific—effective 1 April 2017. Sumitomo Chemical Asia will be the surviving company.

Sumitomo Chemical Asia was established in 1990 and it manufactures and sells petrochemical products. Sumitomo Chemical Singapore was established in 1996, and it manufactures and sells methyl methacrylate. Sumitomo Chemical Asia Pacific was established in 2013, and it is involved in the sales and marketing of chemical products.

Following the merger, Sumitomo Chemical Asia, as Sumitomo’s regional headquarters in the region, will work to expand the group’s presence in the region, the company says.

The merger will enhance Sumitomo’s competitive advantage in the sales, marketing, production, and supply-chain management of chemical products in the Asian region by bringing together the three companies business expertise and leveraging their established intelligence network, Sumitomo says.
